If you follow me on any of my other platforms, you know that I am absolutely obsessed with kitchens and all the little details that go into them. Kitchens are one of the most highly valued parts of a house in Charleston when it comes to selling, so having an updated and relevant kitchen is the key to a quick sell. Now I am not implying that it is necessary to go through with a whole kitchen renovation right before you put your house on the market, but minor renovations can help more than you think. Replacing the countertops or even just updating one of your most heavily used appliances could do the trick.
Personally, I like to stick to updating the aesthetics of the kitchen, so if the countertop is all banged up, replace just that! If the refrigerator needs some attention, I would focus on appliances. It’s different for every home — maybe your cabinets just need new hardware, or the walls just need to be repainted to show less wear and tear, whatever it may be I can help you! Having an attractive space and making the next homeowner ‘want’ and ‘feel’ something exciting will help make the sell. Most often, before appliances need to be considered, other minor things such as the backsplashes, outlets, faucets, and floors need to be evaluated. Check these before going big with entirely new kitchen renovations when trying to sell your house on the fly!
