Reduced to 300K for Quick Sale! and cut throat realestate

Well, well, well…..here is an interesting story!!! First of all, real estate is a weee bit cut throat. Let me just tell you about this house that I listed……Well, I listed it around 1 pm in the afternoon. Around 5, I got a text saying “Don’t list the house!! ” from the homeowner. Ummmm, what??

Well – low and behold in the morning, another REALTOR had come by and offered them a cash deal, which they did not accept at the time, and then decided to accept it around 5. Yes – thats right – after I had all my documents in place, the professional pictures had been taken daysssss ago and my sign was in the yard. Talk about ¬†karma. I hope that other agent realizes that karma is alive and true!! ANYWAY = so I am missing out on my commission and I decided to BE GRACIOUS and just eat all my costs I had incurred because honestly, the home owners were a little desperate anyway, and had a reverse mortgage and just needed to get out from under the house, or it was going to be foreclosed on. So – I had to practice graciousness and just let it GOOOOooooooo……..

Lesson learned: I am actually still trying to figure out what lesson I learned here. I think this just gave me an opportunity to BE GRACIOUS and kind.
